El Tovar Hotel, South Rim (520/638-2631 ext 6432). Very grand, enormously expensive dining room, looking right out over the canyon; reserve days ahead for dinner. Bright Angel Lodge, South Rim. Functional cafe serving most things you might want, from snacks to salads and steak. Yavapai Lodge, South Rim. Large family cafeteria with attractive glassed-in seating area. Burgers for around $3 and chicken dinners for $5 and up. Grand Canyon Lodge, North Rim (520/638-2612 ext 160).
