History of the Indians

From where did the Indians come??
The first immigrants

B evor the white ones to America came, lived thereexcluding Indians. Each child knows. When and how however had first humans settled the continent? The researchers do not even know - despite informative finds and plausible theories.

usa indianer C hristoph Kolumbus of the 1492 the first natives on the island Hispaniola saw, could not not believe it almost that these looking strange natures were humans. Only Pope Julius II. explained the Indians of the new world twenty years later for descendants of Adam and Evas.
But thus for the Europeans a problem had developed: how did these humans come into the new world, if they actually originated as descendants of the first pair of people from the old person? Different proposals for solution were made: They could erred to be, which had taken part once in thebuilding of the bilblic tower to Babel; they were Israelites, Egyptians, Karthagers, Trojaners, Greeks, Etruskers, Chinese - or simply only sailors, who had gotten far off the course.
In progressive 19. Century met the famous natural scientist Charles Darwin at the south Point of Argentina the fire countries. And reacted with almost the same prepossession as once Kolumbus: the Indians control after his opinion a human language, and each religion is other only imperfectly to them.
The Italian paleontologist Florentino Amaghino meant even, the natives Americas had resulted from their own creation independently of humans of the old persons world. Other researchers assumed, the Indians survivors of the sunk continent Atlantis could be.
Only in our century scientists developed methods, which permit a more realistic view of the history of the Indians. Some remains nevertheless in the unclear one. When Kolumbus 1492 in the new world ejected the anchor, lived roughly 12 million humans in north and South America, perhaps even substantially more. They talked about 2200 different languages, however in North America more than 500, the natives lived in just as many trunks. How should one detect all connections and differences? Because the even tried the researchers.
